Issue Position

I believe in term limits because I believe in common sense. Our President and Our governors have term limits. We need the same for our senators and representatives. We are supposed to be citizen legislatures. Once someone is entrenched in government, however, it is extremely difficult for that incumbent to be voted out. It seems many legislatures become career politicians losing sight of the real wants and needs of constituents. With term limits, I believe legislatures would work the betterment of their fellow man rather than for their own position and reelection. Regarding the state budget, I believe state employees know many ways to save money. If these employees come up with a cost saving plan, they should be rewarded based on the amount saved by the state.

Being politically correct and correct are not always one in the same. Applying correct commonsense, however, should always prove beneficial.
